Houssam Itani

Houssam Itani serves as the Group Chief Transformation Officer at Masraf Al Rayan since January 2024, focusing on the bank's strategy and initiatives to enhance growth through transformation of customer experiences, data analytics, and agile operating models. Prior to this role, Houssam held various positions at Ernst & Young from 2003 to 2024, including Partner for MENA Banking & Capital Markets and Partner for Financial Services Advisory, contributing significantly to financial services transformation. Additionally, Houssam was a Global Accelerator Expert at the Hult Prize Foundation from May 2021 to January 2024. Houssam holds an MBA in Strategy & Organizational Leadership from IMD, a Nanodegree in Fintech from MIT, and a BBA in Business-Finance from the American University of Beirut.
