Honeychild Coleman is a versatile artist with extensive experience in music production, performance, and education. Currently serving as a mentor in History & Culture at Underground Producers Alliance since 2014, Coleman specializes in extended techniques in music production, composition, sound design, and live performance. As a member of the New York City-based band The 1865 since 2017, Coleman contributes baritone guitar, vocals, and songwriting. Additionally, Coleman is a vocalist and songwriter for the reggae/ska collective Heavensbee and has been active as a disk jockey at various venues since 1999. Notable releases include the album "Bereket Window" in 2011, showcasing a blend of gritty guitar work and eclectic musical influences. Further education includes a podcast workshop series at Brooklyn Public Library and prior studies at multiple institutions, including Parsons School of Design.
