Alberto Perez MD FACEP FACMT serves as the Chair and Medical Director of Emergency Medicine at Mass General Brigham since October 2022. Additionally, Alberto holds the position of Emergency Physician at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital and works as a Medical Toxicology Consultant for the Connecticut Poison Control Center, roles maintained since January 2021 and June 2004, respectively. Previously, Alberto served as Medical Director of Emergency Services at North Country Hospital and held various academic positions, including Medical Director and Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Connecticut Health Center. With a robust background in emergency medicine, which includes leadership roles across multiple hospitals and committees, Alberto's education includes an MD from the University of Connecticut Health Center and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Universite de Montreal.
