Bill Barrows

Bill Barrows is an accomplished pharmacy operations leader with extensive experience in both clinical and business systems within specialty pharmacy. Currently serving as Senior Director of Operations at Mass General Brigham since June 2017, Bill has held multiple roles including Director of Operations and Director of Specialty Pharmacy. Prior to this, Bill was Chief Pharmacist at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates from 1986 to June 2017, overseeing clinic operations, central fill, sterile compounding, and oncology and specialty pharmacy. Bill's early career included positions as Pharmacy Supervisor and Staff Pharmacist, beginning as a Pharmacy Intern at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates. Bill earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Chemistry from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (1980-1985) and has further education from Bentley University.
