Karen Fiumara

Karen Fiumara currently serves as the Vice President of Patient Safety at Mass General Brigham, a position held since October 2023. Prior to this role, Fiumara dedicated over two decades to Brigham and Women's Hospital, where career progression included titles such as Executive Director of Patient Safety and Patient Family Relations, Director of Patient Safety, and Manager of Patient Safety, among others. Fiumara's extensive background in patient safety also encompasses experience as a Clinical Pharmacist and Medication Safety Officer. Fiumara earned a PharmD degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences between 1996 and 2002.
