Michael Oates is a senior leader in research computing and artificial intelligence with extensive experience in healthcare technology. Currently serving as Sr Director of Research Computing and AI at Mass General Brigham since June 2012, Michael has also held roles such as Director of Operations for the Accelerator for Clinical Transformation and Senior Manager of Personalized Medicine at the Laboratory for Molecular Medicine. Prior to this, Michael co-founded Socrato and served as Chief Technology Officer from 2006 to 2010, and held various technology leadership positions at Sapient from 1991 to 2002 and Atos Consulting Switzerland from 1988 to 1991. Michael Oates earned a degree from Cornell University between 1983 and 1987.
