Jim Daniell

Board Member at Mass Technology Leadership Council

Jim Daniell is currently a board member at the Mass Technology Leadership Council, and they have held previous positions at Oxfam America and Curriculum Associates.

Daniell joined Oxfam America in 2009 as the Chief Operating Officer, where they oversaw all of the agency’s global staff and operations. Working closely with the President, Ray Offenheiser, Daniell sought to translate their vision for a 21st century, networked NGO into a reality. Together, they built an Oxfam family where employees thrive as a team of passionate professionals committed to blazing a new trail in the field of international development focused on global poverty and injustice.

In 2017, Daniell left Oxfam America to join Curriculum Associates as a board member. Curriculum Associates is a privately-held company that publishes research-based, classroom-proven materials that provide flexible, focused, and targeted instruction to help educators effectively address the diverse levels and needs in every classroom. The board focus on business strategy, financial plans, and organizational development for the really long term (100+ years).

Jim Daniell received their Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, their MS in Computer Science from the University of Connecticut, and their BS in Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
