Douglas Shea

Douglas Shea has extensive work experience in the transportation and government sectors. Douglas currently holds the position of Director of Audit & Closeout at MBTA since September 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Acting Deputy Chief of Contract Services at the MASSACHUSETTS BAY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY RETIREMENT FUND from September 2022 to April 2023. Douglas also held the role of Deputy Director of Administration & Finance at the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority from June 2007 to June 2022. Furthermore, they worked as the Legislative Director at the Commonwealth of Massachusetts from April 2001 to June 2006 and started their career as a Paralegal at the Queens County District Attorney from June 2000 to April 2001.

Douglas Shea completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in American History at Clark University from 1996 to 2000.
