Joann Marrone-Joyce

Joann Marrone-Joyce is a professional with extensive experience in the electrical and maintenance fields. Currently serving as the Director of Training & Resource Development in the Engineering & Maintenance Department at MBTA since February 2009, Joann focuses on enhancing the workforce through innovative training to improve quality, leadership, and safety. Previously, Joann held the position of Supervisor of Building and Station Maintenance, overseeing multiple Union Building Trades. An electrician since 1983 and a member of IBEW Local Union 103 in Boston, Joann has broad expertise in residential, commercial, and transit projects. Joann's earlier role at MBTA was as the Assistant Supervisor of Electrical Maintenance. Education includes OSHA 500 and 501 certifications along with training in NFPA standards related to electrical safety and life safety code essentials.
