Joshua Klingenstein has extensive experience in capital planning and transportation program management, currently serving as the Director of Capital Program Planning at MBTA since October 2019, after progressing through various roles including Manager, Senior Analyst, and Analyst in the same department. Prior to MBTA, Joshua worked as a Program Associate for Transportation at the Northwest Municipal Conference and as a NUPIP Research and Analysis Fellow at the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP). Earlier career roles include a Data Coder at KMR Group, Inc., a Policy Intern at the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless, and a Research Assistant at Northwestern University. Joshua earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and International Studies from Northwestern University, where studies were completed from 2013 to 2017.
