Peter Swank

Peter Swank is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in workforce development and talent acquisition, currently serving as the Deputy Director of Workforce Development at MBTA since August 2021. In this role, Peter oversees various staffing systems, coordinates community outreach and hiring events, and enhances internship programs, while previously holding positions as Deputy Director of Staffing and Talent Acquisition Manager within the same organization. With a strong background in recruitment and employee engagement across multiple industries, including notable roles at Live Nation Entertainment and Vista Higher Learning, Peter has demonstrated expertise in process improvement, organizational development, and strategic management. Peter holds an MBA in Human Capital Management and International Business, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems from Bellevue University, supplemented by postgraduate studies in Managing Risk and System Change from Trinity College Dublin.
