Rachel Morse is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in transit policy and litigation. Currently serving as the Director of Transit Policy and previously as Assistant General Counsel at the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) since April 2015, Rachel has a strong background in advising and representing clients in commercial litigation matters from tenure at Duane Morris LLP. Additional roles include Special Assistant District Attorney at the Middlesex District Attorney's Office, where responsibilities included drafting appellate and trial briefs, and Contract Attorney with the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General, focusing on civil rights and consumer protection. Rachel's early legal career features a law clerk position at the Massachusetts Superior Court, assisting judges in civil and criminal cases. An alumnus of Boston College Law School with a J.D., Rachel also holds a BA in Film from Cornell University.
