Snigdha Kar

Snigdha Kar has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2012, they started their career at Accenture as a Software Engineer, working as a Quality Analyst and Quality Assurance Tester for Bank of America. Snigdha also had an internship with Accenture, gaining experience in programming and understanding different support systems within the organization.

Moving forward, in 2016, Snigdha interned at Procter & Gamble as a Virtual Solutions-IT Intern, where they explored the potential of image recognition technologies to enhance and automate business processes for the sales and design team. In 2017, they joined Procter & Gamble as a Data Scientist-PS Analyst, contributing to the global Project Uber Black and optimizing the cost-to-serve customers through supply chain cost analysis.

During their time at Procter & Gamble, Snigdha also served as a Digitization Engineer, spearheading the implementation of a digital backbone data architecture, which improved data acquisition and analysis capabilities across the organization and enabled data-driven decision-making.

In 2022, Snigdha joined Northeastern University as a Student Success Guide, mentoring first-year students and connecting them with necessary experts and resources to enhance their student experience.

Currently, Snigdha holds the position of Director of Quality, Compliance and Oversight at MBTA since 2023, responsible for ensuring quality standards, compliance, and oversight within the organization.

Snigdha Kar has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Graphic Era Deemed to be University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2012. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Business Analytics at Northeastern University from 2021 to 2022.
