Tess Paganelli

Tess Paganelli is an experienced environmental professional currently serving as the Director of Environmental Review and Permitting at the MBTA since May 2020, following roles as Manager of Environmental Construction and Environmental Compliance Officer. Prior experience includes work as an Environmental Scientist at VHB and Jacobs Engineering, where responsibilities encompassed wetland delineation, technical report preparation, and compliance with environmental regulations. Additional experience includes data analysis, field sampling, and research in environmental science, notably during tenure as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Washington and as a Field Assistant Intern with Earth Corps. Tess holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science from UMass Boston and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Resource Management from the University of Washington.
