Jennifer Applebaum is the MD of Workforce Development at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center. Jennifer has over 18 years of experience in the workforce development field, with a focus on curriculum development and training. Jennifer has led the development of a new outcomes-focused approach to workforce development, which has resulted in increased career pathway training and improved outcomes for youth and adult learners. Jennifer has also overseen the development of a suite of career readiness and soft-skills training solutions that have benefitted more than 100,000 youth and adult learners. In their current role, they oversee a team of ten full-time staff and 20-plus consultants across curriculum development, training, program management, evaluation, instruction, fiscal, marketing and design functions.
Jennifer Applebaum has a BA in Women's Studies from Barnard College and an MSEd in Secondary Mathematics Education from The City College of New York.
