Thomas Mills

Thomas Mills currently serves as the Communications Division Chief at the Massachusetts Gaming Commission since February 2022, directing strategic communications for the regulation of casino gaming and sports wagering. Prior experience includes roles as the Associate Director of Special Projects at Harvard University and various positions at the Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance, where Mills developed external relations strategies and served as a senior agency writer. Additional roles include Legislative Director for Massachusetts State Representative Lori Ehrlich and communications positions in multiple political campaigns. Mills holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from UMass Boston.
