Cesar M. Castro

Cesar M. Castro is the Director of Gynecologic Oncology at the MGH Cancer Center and the Director of the Cancer Program at the MGH Center for Systems Biology, where Cesar M. serves as the Principal Investigator for the Castro Lab. Currently holding the position of IRB Chair for Phase I Cancer Clinical Trials at Mass General Brigham, Cesar specializes in nanomedicine, molecular imaging, solid tumors, and early phase clinical trials. In academia, Cesar is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and has held various roles, including Assistant Professor and Instructor in Medicine, at institutions such as Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Brigham & Women's Hospital, and Massachusetts General Hospital. Prior residency training in Internal Medicine occurred at UCSF from 2005 to 2008. Educational qualifications include a Master of Medical Sciences from Harvard Medical School, an MD from the University of California, San Francisco, and a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley, complemented by a strong background from Hunter College High School.
