Katherine Nichols

Katherine Nichols, MD, currently serves as a Non-Invasive Cardiologist and Medical Director of Quality and Safety in Cardiology at Massachusetts General Hospital since October 2020, and as the Director of Outpatient Cardiology at Nantucket Cottage Hospital from January 2024. Concurrently, Katherine is an Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and previously held a similar position at Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth while completing a Cardiology Fellowship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock from July 2017 to October 2020. Prior experience includes serving as an Internal Medicine Resident at Rush University Medical Center from July 2014 to June 2017 and working as a Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Research Assistant at Yale University School of Medicine in 2010. Katherine earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Medicine from 2010 to 2014 and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and French Studies from Trinity College-Hartford from 2005 to 2009.
