Asmi Chakraborty

Asmi Chakraborty, PhD, currently serves as the Manager of Industry Strategy and Investments at the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center and is a Venture Fellow at Breakout Ventures. Previous roles include Venture Fellow at Fusion Fund, Translational Scientist at Palleon Pharmaceuticals, and Co-Founder of Precision Glycomics in Neuroinflammation. Asmi Chakraborty's background features involvement with Harvard Innovation Labs as a Venture Team Co-Founder and a PhRMA Foundation Translational Medicine Fellow, in addition to a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Harvard Medical School. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Cancer Biology from UAB Marnix E. Heersink School of Medicine, alongside postdoctoral fellowships in Cancer Immunology and Cancer Glycobiology at Harvard Medical School and Florida International University, respectively, as well as a Master in Technology in Biotechnology from Padmashree Dr. D.Y Patil University.
