Kristen Rhyner

Kristen Rhyner, M.Ed, has been an influential educator at the University of Massachusetts Lowell since August 1994, currently serving as an Instructor for the Professional Development Seminar, where the focus is on job search skills for university students. In previous roles, Kristen excelled as the Associate Director of Academic Services, leading initiatives for undergraduate transfer support and managing a team of advisors and interns. As Coordinator of Advising and Outreach Services, Kristen provided crucial support to at-risk students and developed academic intervention programs. Additionally, experience as Associate and Assistant Director of Career Services involved organizing career events and offering counseling to students and alumni. Earlier career positions included roles as Resident Director at both Bridgewater State University and the University of Lowell, managing residence hall operations and fostering community engagement. Kristen holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor of Science in Health Education, both from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
