Mary Ann Picard

Executive Director for Innovation & New Ventures at Massachusetts Medical Device Development Center (M2D2)

Mary Ann Picard is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in innovation and community development. Currently serving as the Executive Director for Innovation and New Ventures at the University of Massachusetts Lowell since January 2013, Mary Ann also holds the position of Project Manager and Director of Operations at M2D2, an incubator program for medical device and biotech start-ups, since May 2014. Prior to these roles, Mary Ann was the Director of Development and Community Relations at The Salvation Army from January 2009 to January 2013. Mary Ann holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University and an MBA in Business Administration from Rivier College.
