Sokny Alyana Long

Sokny Alyana Long has extensive experience in administrative roles within academic settings, currently serving as Executive Assistant to the Vice Chancellor for Research & Innovation and Program Coordinator in the College of Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Lowell since 2006. Responsibilities include supporting leadership in administration, recruitment, and training, as well as managing academic petitions, HR tasks, and office space inventory. Prior roles include serving as Night School Program Lead at Minuteman High School, where Sokny assisted in adult education programs and handled marketing and enrollment tasks. Earlier experience includes a position as a Quality Assurance Technician at FUJIFILM Microdisks and co-advising youth programs at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Sokny holds an MBA and dual master's degrees in Community Social Psychology and Sociology from the same institution.
