Gayle Sommer

Gayle Sommer is an experienced professional with a strong background in association services, business management, and marketing. Currently serving as the Association Services and Events Manager at the Massachusetts Medical Society since March 2018, Gayle oversees programs for physician specialty societies including governance, continuing medical education, and membership initiatives. Previously, Gayle held roles at The Career Place where responsibilities included directing business services and dislocated worker services to assist job seekers and businesses. Additional experience includes serving as Executive Director at Rippe Lifestyle Institute, managing marketing and market research at Hallmark Health System, and advertising management at Tufts Health Plan. Gayle holds an International Master of Business Administration from the Darla Moore School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Bates College.
