Joy Seth is an experienced investment professional currently serving as a Senior Investment Officer at the Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Management since March 2020, after holding the role of Investment Officer. Previously, Joy Seth worked at the Employees Retirement System of Texas from November 2013 to March 2020 as a Senior Quantitative Investment Analyst, focusing on expanding derivatives programs, modeling options strategies, and implementing machine learning algorithms for tactical asset allocation. Additionally, Joy Seth gained experience as a Reverse Mortgage Analyst at Silvergate Bank and as a Software Engineer at Microsoft. Joy Seth also interned at Cisco Systems and holds a Master of Science in Computational Finance and Risk Management from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
