Mark Wimmer is a seasoned aviation analyst with extensive experience in meteorology and weather-related operations. Currently serving as a Senior Aviation Analyst at Massachusetts Port Authority since December 2016, Wimmer conducts comprehensive analyses of aircraft noise, flight tracks, and operational data while collaborating with various stakeholders. Prior roles include Meteorologist in Charge for the Aviation Forecasting Group at Weather Services International, where analysis of atmospheric data was critical for air operations, and Manager of Maxwell Air Force Base Weather Station, overseeing weather support operations.
