Chris Jacques has extensive experience in emergency management and rescue operations, currently serving in multiple roles with the Seacoast Chiefs Type 3 IMT since September 2014, including Operations Section Chief, Planning Section Chief, Logistics Section Chief, Safety Officer, and Public Information Officer. In addition, Chris has been a Rescue Squad Officer for the Massachusetts Urban Search and Rescue Team since April 2001 and has held the position of HAZMAT Team Leader with the Seacoast Technical Assistance Response Team-START since the same year. Chris's career in fire and rescue began in 1992 with the City of Dover Fire & Rescue, where the position of Captain has been held for over three decades.

Massachusetts Task Force 1 (MA-TF 1) is one of 28 DHS/FEMA sponsored Urban Search and Rescue Teams. Sponsored by the City of Beverly, MA the team is comprised of volunteers from all 6 of the New England States. We have deployed to numerous natural and man-made disasters.
