Michael Chisholm is an experienced emergency services professional with a career spanning over a decade. Currently serving as a Lieutenant/Paramedic at the Norwood Fire Department since November 2011, Michael also functions as a Medical Specialist and FEMA Adjunct Instructor for the Massachusetts Urban Search and Rescue Team since January 2018. Additional experience includes working as a Communications Officer for the Southeastern Massachusetts Regional 911 District from March 2021 to May 2024, along with previous roles as an EMT Paramedic at Brewster Ambulance Service and Cataldo Ambulance Service, and as an EMT at Fallon Ambulance Service. Michael holds certifications in firefighting and emergency medical technology, having completed training at the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy and Safety Program Consultants.

Massachusetts Task Force 1 (MA-TF 1) is one of 28 DHS/FEMA sponsored Urban Search and Rescue Teams. Sponsored by the City of Beverly, MA the team is comprised of volunteers from all 6 of the New England States. We have deployed to numerous natural and man-made disasters.
