Scott Bumpus is an experienced emergency medical and communications professional with a robust background in fire services, emergency response, and technical training. Currently serving as a Radio Engineer for Global Medical Response since September 2021, Scott has also been a Communications Specialist with the Massachusetts Urban Search and Rescue Team since January 2008, where responsibilities include managing radio and network communications for national emergency response. Previous roles include Assistant Fire Chief at West Sand Lake Fire District, Operationalization Specialist at Mutualink, and Safety Consultant/Instructor at Capital Technical Rescue and Safety Consultants, among others. Scott holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Emergency Medical Technology from Bunker Hill Community College, along with multiple paramedic certifications and specialized training in various emergency response disciplines.

Massachusetts Task Force 1 (MA-TF 1) is one of 28 DHS/FEMA sponsored Urban Search and Rescue Teams. Sponsored by the City of Beverly, MA the team is comprised of volunteers from all 6 of the New England States. We have deployed to numerous natural and man-made disasters.
