Sarah Salerno has extensive experience in higher education administration, serving in various leadership roles at Massachusetts Bay Community College since 2005. Currently, Sarah holds the position of Assistant Dean, Advising Resources and Technology, and has previously served as Assistant Dean for Academic Advising and Director of Academic & Transfer Advising, overseeing a high-volume advising center that supports over 12,000 students each academic cycle. Sarah has also directed retention efforts under a Title III grant, developing comprehensive strategies to enhance student success and addressing the needs of diverse student populations. Earlier in Sarah's career, roles included Associate Director of Academic Advising, where data analysis led to improved services for at-risk students, and Admissions Counselor at Suffolk University. Sarah earned an M.Ed in Higher Education Administration from Suffolk University and a B.A. in American Studies from Saint Michael's College.
