Rebecca Peterson

Rebecca Peterson possesses extensive experience in marketing and communications within the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Marketing and Communications Forum Co-Chair at MassBio since January 2019, Rebecca previously held the position of Head of Partner Relations, Global BD&L at Sanofi Genzyme from June 2017 to January 2020. As Principal at Peterson Communications, LLC from November 2015 to June 2017, and in various senior roles at Alkermes from 2000 to 2015, Rebecca excelled in corporate communications, investor relations, and public relations, significantly increasing company valuations and media presence. Additionally, Rebecca's earlier experience at Millennium Pharmaceuticals contributed to substantial company growth. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Health Communications from Tufts University School of Medicine and Emerson College, and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, and Public Health from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
