Kelsey Schiller

Director, Communications at MassDevelopment

Kelsey Schiller is currently the Director of Communications at MassDevelopment. Prior to their current role, Kelsey served as the Communications Director for Representative Kate Hogan from November 2015 to May 2018. In this role, Kelsey was responsible for developing and executing communications strategies to enhance Representative Hogan’s status as a leader on key policy issues and sustain their positive public image in the Third Middlesex District. Kelsey achieved this through various means, such as serving as the primary media contact for Representative Hogan and the Joint Committee on Public Health, drafting statements and press releases for local, regional, and statewide media, producing monthly and quarterly E-newsletters, creating content for social media platforms, and shaping and establishing protocols for ongoing and open communications with members of the media and constituents. Thanks to Kelsey’s efforts, Representative Hogan was able to successfully communicate their policy priorities and accomplishments to their constituents and maintain a positive public image.

Kelsey Schiller has a Master’s Degree in Public Relations from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Arizona State University. Kelsey also studied at Barrett, the Honors College at ASU and Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen.

Kelsey Schiller works with Jamie Desautels - Deputy Chief, Devens Fire Department, Ricks Frazier - General Counsel, and Tony Fracasso - SVP, Housing Finance. Kelsey Schiller reports to Dan Rivera, President & CEO.
