Onix Castro

Onix joined MassDevelopment in 2021 as part of the Engineering group as a Construction Engineer. He assists with the development of project plans and specifications by consultants and in-house staff, preparation of IFBs and RFQ/RFPs for various agency projects, provides daily oversight of construction and demolition projects, such that the contractual requirements and obligations are fulfilled in accordance with drawings and specifications, and other duties as may be assigned. Prior to joining MassDevelopment, Onix worked with Walsh Contracting Corp. and Vanasse Hangen Brustlin (VHB). Onix gained experience in a variety of projects from construction to full design in Land Development. Onix has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering - Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
