Shaun McCarthy

Shaun McCarthy has a long history of work experience in various roles. Shaun began their career in 2006 as an Assistant Project Manager at OMS SafeHarbor. In 2007, they took on a role as Research Associate at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, and in 2008, they became a Grant Specialist at the Greater Lowell Workforce Investment Board. In 2012, they moved to ANGKOR DANCE TROUPE, INC. as a Grant Writer. In 2014, they were promoted to Senior Program Manager at the Greater Lowell Workforce Development Board, where they managed workforce development projects and led the development process of a new website. In 2016, they became the Initiative Director for the Working Cities Lowell Initiative, where they oversaw the general implementation and coordination of the Initiative. In 2021, they assumed the role of Business Services Manager at MassHire Lowell Career Center.

Shaun McCarthy attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Accounting (BAMA) with a double major in Sociology, Regional Economics and Social Development.
