Matthew Smith has a wide range of work experience in the beverage industry. Matthew started their career at Frito Lay in 2000 and then moved on to Nestle Waters as a Market Development Manager, where they focused on developing the on-premise business for San Pellegrino and Acqua Panna. After that, they worked at Voss Water as a Brand Manager before joining Republic National Distributing Company as a District Manager in both the Fine Wine and Spirits divisions. In 2012, they returned to Voss Water as the Southern On-Premise Division Manager. Matthew then joined VOSS Artesian Water from Norway as the Director of National Accounts, working with distributors and building brand awareness. Most recently, they served as Vice President of Sales at VOSS Artesian Water from Norway before joining Massimo Zanetti Beverage USA as Vice President of Sales Foodservice.

Matthew Smith obtained an intermediate level sommelier diploma in wine and spirits from WSET in 2007. Prior to that, they attended Salisbury University from 1996 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication. Additionally, they have an unspecified certification from WSET.
