Gary Tavares

Gary Tavares, PMP, is an accomplished business development advisor with a diverse background in manufacturing and operations. Currently at MassMEP since November 2022, Gary focuses on optimizing operations and implementing sustainable practices. Prior experience includes roles such as Director of Manufacturing Operations at Harvard Bioscience and Director of Operations at Pelican Products, Inc. Gary's expertise extends to industrial engineering, quality management, and advanced research and development, having worked with notable companies like Nike and Pratt & Whitney Aircraft. Gary holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Nichols College and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
