Alex Shalvinsky is a seasoned quantitative analyst and developer with extensive experience in financial data analysis and modeling. Currently at MassMutual since August 2023, Alex is focused on analyzing a substantial portfolio exceeding 300 billion in notional amount, developing frameworks for measuring portfolio credit and market risk. Previously, Alex worked as a quantitative developer at PIMCO and as a quantitative analyst/researcher at FNZ Group, where responsibilities included building valuation and risk models for fixed income securities. Additionally, Alex contributed to a low-latency trading environment at AllianceBernstein and served as VP of Interest Rate Derivatives Pricing at TD Securities, specializing in curve construction and pricing strategies. Alex holds a Master of Science in Applied Data Science from the University of Michigan and a Master of Science in Finance from Northeastern University.
