Derek Valego

Derek Valego, CRVPM, currently serves as a Soccer Coach for Scorpions Soccer Club and as the Head of Supplier Risk and Governance at MassMutual. With extensive experience in third-party risk management, Derek has held senior positions at various institutions including VP at Rockland Trust, Manager at BlockFi, and Vice President at Citizens Bank. Additionally, Derek co-founded Pena Madridista Boston and contributed as a board secretary. Earlier career roles included compliance analysis and client service at Putnam Investments, as well as serving as an assistant men's soccer coach at Merrimack College. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Merrimack College.
