Eric Boateng

Eric Boateng is an accomplished cybersecurity executive with extensive experience in risk management and information security. As the Chief Information Security Officer and Head of Enterprise Cyber Security at MassMutual, Eric is responsible for developing and overseeing the organization's cybersecurity strategy and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Prior to this role, Eric served as Vice President of Cybersecurity, Technology & Resiliency Risk Oversight at American Express, where responsibilities included independent risk management and oversight of information security practices. Eric's background also includes leadership roles in cybersecurity at the U.S. Navy, Georgia Department of Human Services, and New York eHealth Collaborative, where significant contributions were made to establish and enhance cybersecurity frameworks. Eric holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master of Science in Information Security & Assurance from Carnegie Mellon University and a Professional Degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Columbia University.
