Matt Fitzgerald

Matt Fitzgerald is an accomplished leader in product management and robotics with extensive experience across various roles and companies. As the Founder of Castle Island Robotics and a Mentor at MassRobotics, Fitzgerald brings a wealth of knowledge in product strategy and development. Previous roles include Director of Product Management at 6 River Systems, where Fitzgerald significantly increased revenue and established a high-performing team, and Global Director of Product Management at Universal Robots, where Fitzgerald built the product management function from the ground up. Notably, Fitzgerald served as Vice President of Product at Rethink Robotics, contributing to the creation of the collaborative robot market while overseeing multiple departments and driving substantial sales growth. Educationally, Fitzgerald holds a BA in Communication Studies from Bridgewater State University.
