Kate Every

Kate Every has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Kate most recently worked at Mastek as the Service Design Practice Lead starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they held various positions at NHS Digital, including Senior Service Designer, Inclusive and Equitable Design Lead, and Service Designer for Test & Trace. Before joining NHS Digital, Kate worked as a Senior UX/Service Design Consultant at Hippo Digital UK. Kate also served as a Marketing Creative Designer at SFS Group, a User Experience Designer at Gradintelligence, and a Web Content Editor at the University of Warwick. Additionally, Kate held roles as a Web and Communications Officer at The Bodleian Libraries, University of Oxford, a Content Author at Spark44, and a Virtual Learning Environment Developer at the University of York.

Kate Every has a Master's Degree in Applied Human Rights from the University of York, which they obtained from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English and Related Literature at the same university from 2012 to 2015. Before attending university, they received their secondary education at Blue Coat C of E Sixth Form from 2009 to 2011, where they studied English Literature, Psychology, History, German, and Maths. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in "Ethics in design" from the SERVICE DESIGN COLLEGE in 2023.
