Dr. Andreas Bienert

Dr. Andreas Bienert has a diverse work experience in the field of counseling and addiction medicine. Currently, they are working as the Program Director for Substance Use Disorder Counseling Emphasis and an Assistant Professor at Colorado Christian University - College of Adult & Graduate Studies since January 2023. Prior to this, they were an Assistant Professor at the same university from February 2019 to January 2023.

In December 2019, Dr. Bienert joined the Master Center for Addiction Medicine as the Clinical Program Director. Dr. Andreas also served as the Chief Clinical Officer for a brief period in March 2023.

Before these roles, Dr. Bienert was an Adjunct Professor at Regent University from August 2015. Dr. Andreas has also worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor at Genesis Counseling Center from June 2018 to June 2021.

Dr. Andreas Bienert completed their education at Regent University. Dr. Andreas obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University, which they pursued from 2011 to 2014. Subsequently, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Counselor Education & Supervision from the same university, completing it from 2014 to 2018.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Dr. Bienert has also obtained several certifications relevant to their field. Dr. Andreas holds a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) certification from the Virginia Board of Counseling, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification from the same institution, and a Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Provider (LSATP) certification, also from the Virginia Board of Counseling. Furthermore, they hold a National Certified Counselor (NCC) certification from The National Board for Certified Counselors. The specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
