Justin Bowers has extensive work experience in loss prevention and safety roles. Justin started their career as an Assets Protection Team Leader at Mervyns in 2000 and then worked as a District Loss Prevention Manager at Old Navy from 2004 to 2007. Justin joined rue21 in 2007 and held various positions including Regional Loss Prevention Manager, Senior Regional Loss Prevention Manager, and Director of Loss Prevention until 2017. From 2017 to 2019, they served as the Director of Inventory Control, Loss Prevention & Safety at The Pet Club. Currently, they work at Master Electronics as the VP of People and previously held the position of Director of Facilities, Safety & Loss Prevention from 2019 to 2022.

Justin Bowers has a diverse education history. Justin earned a Business Administration and Management (BSM) degree in 2013 from the University of Phoenix, where they focused on business studies. Prior to that, in 2006, they completed an Administration of Justices (AAS) degree at Estrella Mountain Community College, specializing in Criminal Justice. In 1999, Justin obtained an Emergency Medical Technology (EMT) Certification from Phoenix College, with a field of study in Fire Science.

In addition to their formal education, Justin has also obtained various certifications. In 2022, they completed the HR - Executive Suite Connection certification from Harvard Business School Executive Education. In 2011, they obtained the FEMA - Active Shooter certification from the Emergency Management Institute. In 2009, Justin became a Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI) through Wicklander-Zulawski & Associates. Justin also earned certifications in Telephone Interviewing in 2007 and Interview and Interrogation Techniques in 2006, both from Wicklander-Zulawski & Associates. Furthermore, Justin holds an Emergency Medical Technician certification from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians, which they obtained in 2000.
