Dave Fisher

Director of Information Technology at Master Power Transmission

Dave Fisher's work experience begins with their retirement in 2023. Prior to retiring, they worked at Master Power Transmission, Inc. from 2012 to 2023. During their time there, they held the roles of Director of Information Technology and Manager of Information Technology. In these roles, they led the implementation of a single ERP system, merged and migrated data, managed contractors, and realigned legacy systems to improve functionality. Dave also designed and implemented an integration of business applications and created a virtual scheduling system.

Before working at Master Power Transmission, Inc., Dave Fisher worked at T&S Brass from 2018 to 2023, AFL Telecommunications from 2007 to 2012, Rockwell Automation, PowerSystems from 1980 to 2007, and Rockwell Automation, Global Technical Services from 1979 to 1998. In these roles, they held various positions such as Business Analyst, Manager Plant IT systems, ERP Implementation Team Lead, Information Technology Manager, Plant Superintendent, Manufacturing/Inventory Manager, Repair Center - Customer Service Manager, Repair Center Manager, Repair Team Lead, Service/Test Engineer, and Repair Technician. In these positions, they were responsible for application development, system operations, information technology infrastructure, PC support, and customer service management. Dave also worked on ERP and MRP implementations, established strategies, and designed and implemented business applications.

Dave Fisher attended Columbus State Community College from 1977 to 1979, where they pursued an Associate degree in Electrical Engineering. After completing their studies at Columbus State Community College, they enrolled at Franklin University from 1984 to 1988. At Franklin University, Dave pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
