Kyle Newman

Kyle Newman is a seasoned Senior Mechanical Engineer at MasterBrand Cabinets, with extensive experience in managing capital projects and optimizing manufacturing processes since January 2017. As the Founder and Contributor of Wood Advocate since April 2014, Kyle develops content to enhance understanding of wood science and applications while improving site accessibility. Previous roles include Quality Manager and Industrial Engineer at HNI Corporation, where Kyle revamped quality systems and achieved significant warranty cost reductions. A strong background in engineering is complemented by earlier positions at Eggers Industries, Indiana Dimension Inc., and Purdue University, where Kyle demonstrated expertise in process improvement, product development, and research. Kyle holds a Bachelor's degree in Wood Products Manufacturing Technology from Purdue University and a Principles of Management Certificate from the MRA - Institute of Management.
