Tom Aredo is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of Country Programs Finance at Mastercard Foundation since January 2020. Prior to this role, Aredo gained expertise as a Grants Manager at the International Rescue Committee from August 2018 to December 2019 and held various positions at University Research Co., LLC and Center for Human Services, Plan International, Spark MicroGrants, Deliverance Development Savings & Credit Cooperative, Uganda Finance Trust Ltd, and Foundation for Credit and Community Assistance - Uganda. Aredo's educational background includes a Post Graduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation from Uganda Management Institute, a CPA from ICPAU, a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting/Marketing from Makerere University, and ongoing studies for a Master of International Development at the Virtual University of Uganda.
