Aypar Alpay

Aypar Alpay is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk management, having served as Vice President at Mastercard from 2021 to 2021, where they managed risk for over 50 countries in the Middle East and Africa. Prior to this role, they held various positions at QNB Finansbank, including Market Risk Manager and Assistant Market Risk Manager, from 2009 to 2011, where they developed and implemented risk frameworks. Aypar's early career included work as a Treasury Specialist at Garanti BBVA Factoring from 2004 to 2006. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Yildiz Technical University, an MBA from the University of Hertfordshire, and have completed a summer program in Global Finance at The London School of Economics.
