Cuthbert Tembedza is the Vice President of Business Development for Government Engagements in the EEMEA region at Mastercard, where they drive digital transformation. With over 20 years of experience in banking, payments, mobile security, and fintech, they have held significant roles including CEO at Africa Payments and Managing Director at Giesecke+Devrient Mobile Security. Cuthbert has also contributed as an SME Banking Specialist at the International Finance Corporation and a Client Relationship Manager at Standard Bank of South Africa. They hold an MBA from the Graduate School of Management at the University of Zimbabwe and additional certifications in project management and national payment systems.
