Declan Young

Declan Young is an accomplished professional with experience in data science and coaching. As a Data Science Intern at 84.51˚, Declan developed a framework with 12 custom business metrics for analyzing Kroger's promotional strategies and successfully queried extensive grocery transactional data to deliver data-driven recommendations to leadership. Prior to this role, Declan served as the Head Coach at Marlbank Recreation Association, where responsibilities included instructing swimmers aged 4 to 18 and managing communication with parents and assistant coaches. Additionally, Declan held the position of Associate Consultant at Mastercard. Declan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business/Commerce from the UVA McIntire School of Commerce.
