Dharmesh Akotiya

Dharmesh Akotiya is an accomplished product management professional with extensive experience in the payments and banking sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Product Management at Mastercard, Dharmesh leads the Open Banking Connectivity Product strategy for the UK and Europe. Prior roles include Product Manager at Worldpay, where Dharmesh was instrumental in developing acquiring and ecommerce Gateway products for APAC and LATAM, and Payments Product Owner at Tyl by NatWest, overseeing merchant settlement and internal MI products. Dharmesh has also held positions at Vocalink, where responsibilities spanned from managing a Request To Pay initiative to acting as a Senior Business Analyst in payments. Previous experience includes senior consulting roles at Worldpay and Cognizant, focusing on payment transformation and customer acquisition.
