Halima Islam

Halima Islam is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in external communications across diverse regions, currently serving as the Director of External Communications for Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Mastercard. Previously, Halima held key positions at Hill+Knowlton Strategies as both Account Director and Senior Account Manager, and at Four Communications as a Senior Account Manager. Early in the career, Halima worked as an Economic & Foreign Policy Research Analyst at Spearhead Research Pakistan and as a Sales and Marketing Specialist for Study UK. Halima holds a Master’s Degree in Middle Eastern Studies and Islamic Studies from the University of Exeter and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and International Relations from Keele University.
